He was predeceased by: his parent Cleopatra Holman Ellis. He is survived by: his former wife Dora 'Libby Bailey Swisher; his children, James Dean Holman (Sandee), Jeffery Holman (Laura) and Jannifer Steward (Steve); his grandchildren, James Dean Holman II, Tyler Steward (Yuri), Kevin Holman (Malinda), Ryan Holman (Kaylee), Marcie Holman and Desiree Steward; his great grandchildren, Carter, Dallas, Brystal, Isaac, Paisleigh, Ethan and Myla; his sister Patsy Spann; his wife Dorothy Lamar Ankrum; his stepdaughters, Vickie Butler and Debbie Souza (Jimmie); and his stepgrandsons, Michael Butler and Brian Butler.
