She was predeceased by: her siblings, John Gubser and Mary Gubser. She is survived by: her sons, Denis W. Hamand of Champaign and Jerry R. Hamand of Champaign; her grandchildren, Emanuel Hamand (Tonya) and Samantha Olson (Patrick); her foster son Brian Wilson; her great grandchildren, Holden Hamand, Shopie, Ben and Miles; and her brother Tom Gubser.

Memorial donations may be given in her name to Donor's Choice of charity.
