He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Van and Luella Ruth Amerman (Conner); and his brother-in-law Dick Thomas. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn S. Westbrook; his children, Jennifer M. Jorstad (Chip) and Nicholas R. Amerman; his grandchild Izaiah M. Walker; his stepsons, Joshua Walker and Dustin Walker; his grandchildren, Harper Jorstad, Oskar Jorstad, Kohen Walker, Luken Walker and Isabella Walker; and his siblings, Larry Amerman (Susan), Rick Amerman (Dorthy) and Lynn Thomas. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
