He was predeceased by: his siblings, Gary Rood and Gayle Lee. He is survived by: his parents, David Rood and Barbara Rood (Faltz); his wife Ann M. Ballard; his children, Andra Elk (Steve) and Ryan Rood (Courtney); his grandchildren, Teagan, Xander Elk and Tucker Rood; and his sisters, Mary Lou Saur, Beth Fowler (Bob) and Becky Scheuneman (Don). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
