Mary Evers Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 15, 2022, at the age of 84, Mary Evers of Genoa, Illinois, born in DeKalb, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Merriman and Vera Merriman (Johnson); her husband Ron Evers; her son James Evers; and her siblings, Judy Kunkel, Robert and Joseph Merriman.
She is survived by: her children, Lynn Evers (Mike Grotheer), Joseph Evers (Jackie), Anne Evers Mishler, Patrick Evers (Heather) and Michael Evers (Rhonda); her grandchildren, Liz Lambert (JJ), Andy Evers (Luana), Matt Evers (Megan) and Zach Botts; and her great grandchild Braylen Botts. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Genoa-Kingston School District in care of the Slater-Butala Funeral Home, 132 W. Main, Genoa, IL 60135.
