He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Hoeft and Gertrude Hoeft (Seegers); his wife Janice Gates; and his siblings, Elmer and Irene.
He is survived by: his sons, Rick Hoeft, Roger Hoeft (Kim) and Randy Hoeft (Valerie). He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
