We are sad to announce that on January 22, 2022, at the age of 88, LaVern Barry of Genoa, Illinois, born in Sycamore, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Barry and Martha Barry (Herrmann); his wife Johanne "Jo" Hansen; his son Michael Barry; his granddaughter Kristina Barry; and his siblings, Keith, Bill Barry, Mary Freeman and Johanne Barry.

He is survived by: his daughter Lisa Barry; his great grandchildren, Ashlee and Tyler; his siblings, Jim Barry (Ruth) and Sandy Baskins; his sister-in-law Dorothy Barry; and his pet Dutch. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
