She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Kunkel and Irene M. Kunkel (Kennedy); her siblings, Sherry Bute and Barry Kunkel; her nephew Jeremy Kunkel; and her brother-in-law Michael Carpenter.

She is survived by: her husband Barry of DeKalb; her children, Tracy Jeffries (Bob) of Montgomery, IL and Ryan Charnstrom (Kristina) of Genoa, IL.; and her grandchildren, Carson Charnstrom, Emmalynn Charnstrom of Genoa, Judy Carpenter, Karen Charnstrom and Eleanor "Jo" Pasquale of DeKalb.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family to be established at a later date.
