With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John P. Andersen of Genoa, Illinois, born in Dike, Iowa, who passed away on July 4, 2021 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hans Pedar and Elisa Marie Andersen (Sorensen); and his siblings, Marian Hammer, Elaine Johnson, Evelyn Jensen and Dennis Andersen.
He is survived by: his significant other Sandra Herrmann; his children, Janine Misener (Howard) of Garden Prairie and Eric John Andersen of Genoa; and his grandchildren, Jessica Firkins of Grand Ledge, Mich and Amber Henninger of Green Bay, Wis.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
