It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Franklin H. Loy Sr. of Genoa, Illinois, who passed away on July 14, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver J. and Minnie Loy, Sr. (Pinne); and his siblings, Oliver Loy, Jr., Ernest Loy, Bonnie Loy and Joan Daniels.
He is survived by: his wife Darlene Loy of Genoa; his children, Franklin H. Loy, Jr. (Melissa) of Maple Grove, MN and Robin Lynn Becker (Les) of Kingston; his grandchildren, Quinton Becker, Tabatha Farney (Leif), Tiffany Becker and Jordan "Max" Loy; his great grandchildren, Freya Farney and Vivian Farney; and his siblings, Fie Loy (Martha), Iness Coon, Allen Loy (Gloria) and Patty Williams (Jim).
A memorial fund has been established for the Genoa Rescue Squad and the Barn on Baseline animal shelter.
