Eric Johnson Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eric Johnson of Genoa, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on March 20, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eric H. Johnson and Myrtle Johnson (Anderson); his sister Donna Pomierski; and his siblings-in-law, Gail Baggot and Robert Baggot.
He is survived by: his mother-in-law Holly M. Wilkowski; his wife Holly; his children, Eric R. Johnson (Tammy), Deborah Embry (Rich) and Wayne Johnson; his grandchildren, Jeremy, Jalen, Megan and Kyle; and his sister-in-law Cynthia Bonea. He is also survived by one nephew and four nieces.
All Covid-19 restrictions will be followed according to the IDPH. A memorial service and burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorials for Eric Johnson can be made to his family to determine a charity at a later date in care of the Slater-Butala Funeral Home of Genoa.
