She was predeceased by: her parents, Hartzel Hasty and Margaret Hasty (Kennedy); and her husband Leon Madey. She is survived by: her children, Christine DeVlieger (Steve), Julie Jauron, Mark Madey and Matthew Madey; her grandchildren, Jordan DeVlieger, Emily DeVlieger Shugarman (Joe), Jacob Jauron, Jenna Jauron, Jason Madey and Rylee Madey; her sister Mary Ann Nichol (Harry); and her siblings-in-law, Mary Jean Lane (Gene), Ben Madey (Sandy) and John Madey. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Slater-Butala Funeral Home (132 W Main St, Genoa, IL 60135). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Catherine of Genoa Church (340 S Stott St, Genoa, IL 60135).
