She was predeceased by: her parents, Orval Awe and Lillian Awe (Hansen); and her brother Dean Awe. She is survived by: her husband David Perkins; her son Jeffrey of Genoa; and her brothers, Dan Awe of Genoa and David Awe (Laura) of Hampshire. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established for Northern Public Radio, WNIJ, 801 N. 1st St., DeKalb, IL 60115.
