Loy of Genoa, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on October 11, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elon Boardman and Eleanor Boardman (Strugnell); her husband Franklin H. Loy, Sr.; and her siblings, JoAnn Deiter, Elon Jr., Stephen, David and Robert.
She is survived by: her children, Franklin H. Loy, Jr. (Melissa) of Maple Grove, Minn. and Robin Lynn Becker (Les) of Kingston; her grandchildren, Quinton Becker, Tabatha Farney (Leif), Tiffany Becker and Jordan "Max" Loy; and her great grandchildren, Freya Farney and Vivian Farney.
A memorial fund has been established for the Genoa Rescue Squad and the Barn on Baseline animal shelter.
