He was predeceased by: his parents, Orval Dean Awe and Lillian Awe (Hansen); his siblings, Donna and Dean Awe; and his niece Shelly Awe.
He is survived by: his children, Daniel Awe Jr. (Amy) of Kingston and Amy Swanson (Chad) of Kingston; his grandsons, Ethan, Aiden Awe and Bradley Swanson; his brother David Awe (Laura); his niece Tammy; and his close friend Maria.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Cooper-Quiram Chapel (202 E Main St, Genoa, IL 60135).
