He is survived by: his wife Ellen; his daughters, Andrea Gargani (Steve) of Genoa and Nicole McAleese (Jim) of St. Charles; his grandson Nick Gargani; and his siblings, Sandra Phalen of Mendota, Keith Barrett of Mendota and Adrian Scherger. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
