He was predeceased by: his parents, William Flaherty and Alice Flaherty (Lee); his brother Edwin; his son-in-law Michael Elmore; and his wife Catherine "Kay".
He is survived by: his daughters, Mary Antenore (Michael) of Geneva, Katie Harrison (Tim) of Roselle and Joan Elmore (Michael) of West Dundee; his grandchildren, Ashley, Alex Antenore, Caitlin O'Connell (Mike), Colleen Lorig (Vince), Liam Harrison, Riley and Lily Elmore; and his great grandchildren, Aiden and Lincoln Lorig. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
