She was predeceased by: her husband John Kenneth Mersch; and her sons, John Mersch and Kelly Mersch. She is survived by: her children, Wendy Fonte (Chuck) and Randy Mersch; her grandchildren, Jacquelyn Huff (Michael), Brooke Hickory (Ryan), Nicholas Fonte (Kristin) and Michael Vindas (Kelley); and her daughter-in-law Gail Mersch.
