It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Roger J. Stanton of Geneva, Illinois, born in Davenport, Iowa, who passed away at the age of 67, on October 2, 2020. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Roger J. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Stanton and Marilyn Stanton (Nally). He is survived by: his children, Meghan (Craig) of Geneva and Jeffery Stanton of Portland, Oregon; and his brother Jeff Stanton (Elizabeth) of Des Moines. He is also survived by relatives and friends.

“I met Roger when he was working for Proctor And Gamble in Sioux Falls, SD. We dated for about a year before he moved to Illinois. He was so much fun! I loved his laugh! We use to ride my three wheeler during the winter months at my parents home! We loved cooking out on his grill. One of his favorite singers was James Taylor. We’d stop at a restaurant and he always ordered pumpkin pie with whipped cream. We would go to the lake and swim or just lay in the sun! I miss him dearly! RIP. 😢🙏❤️”
