He is survived by: his parents, Gerald Shine and Eleanor Shine (Horecny); his children, Megan Shine of Iowa, Matthew Shine of West Chicago and Connor Shine of Iowa; the mother of his children Janet Shine; and his siblings, Patricia Hayes (John) of Geneva and Thomas Shine (Sherry) of Chicago Heights. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
