Bruce Johnson wrote a sympathy message

“I am one of what must be a small group of students who had Bob as a teacher or a coach for seven consecutive years, beginning in 6th grade at Fourth Street School in Geneva in 1954 when he was fresh out of Bradley University. During basketball season, he and I would climb into his "snazzy" 1954 Chevrolet Bel Air (green over yellow!) and head over to Sixth Street School, where he coached basketball and I "managed" the team (glorified water boy). We were friends.”

We pray that your hearts remember those fun camping trips, cabin family times, baseball games and many other sports he enjoyed with you. Bless your family today, Jim & Jan Hornbostel”
