It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patricia J. Flodstrom of Geneva, Illinois, who passed away on November 23, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Michael Slatinsky; and her brother Michael Slatinsky. She is survived by: her mother Sophie Slatinsky (Rimcus); her husband Sven; her children, Joan Marinko (Scott) of St. Charles, Glen of LaSalle-Peru, Sven (Anne) of Lombard and Mark (Stacy) of Plano; her grandchildren, Brandi Stopka (Jim), Amanda Hussey (Tim), Lars, Sophie, Oskar, Sven, Aubrey, Hayden and Kendal Flodstrom; and her great grandchildren, Callan Stopka, Nathan and Scarlett Hussey.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Malone Funeral Home (324 E State St, Geneva, IL 60134). A wake was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 at 7:45 PM at the same location. A prayer was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Peter Catholic Church (1891 Kaneville Rd, Geneva, IL 60134).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Anderson Humane in South Elgin.
