He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Mildred and Arthur; his children, Anita Brazeau (Michael), Marshall Brodien (Lisa) and John Brodien (Dimitra); his stepchildren, Lisa Kluge, Erin Lukasiewicz (Steven) and Joseph Cannella; his grandchildren, Anna Darnall (Matthew), Michael Brazeau, Matthew Brazeau, Angela Torrey, Olivia Torrey, Molly Shavey, John Brodien, Samantha Brodien and Ziva Brodien; his stepgrandchildren, Daniel Kluge, Tyler Lukasiewicz, Isabella Lukasiewicz and Nathan Kluge; his great grandchild Jack Darnall; his sister-in-law Pauline Brodien; his daughter Christine Brodien; and his brother Charles Brodien.

Marshall showed symptoms of Alzheimer's disease disruptive to daily life since 2004.
