Marjorie V. Maier Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marjorie V. Maier (Geneva, Illinois), born in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 16, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her son Douglas; her parents, John Novack and Nettie Novack; and her brothers, Elmer and Don Novack.
She is survived by: her children, Daniel (Sally) and Margo Burkhardt (Peter); her grandchildren, Stephanie (Jon), Eric Maier (Laura), Nora (Josh), McCord and Melanie Burkhardt; and her brother David Novack (Helen). She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the United Methodist Church of Geneva (211 Hamilton St, Geneva, IL 60134). A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the United Methodist Church of Geneva or the Geneva History Museum are appreciated.
