It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mario Trungale (Geneva, Illinois), born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on April 28, 2019, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Pellegrino "Peno" and Antanina "Lena" Trungale (Trapani); his sister-in-law Nancy; and his brothers, Joseph and Bennett.

He is survived by: his nephews, Joe (Candy) of Batavia and David (Sabrina) of Wisconsin; his great-nephews, Joey (Mary), Jeffrey and David; his great-niece Andrea (Steve); and his cousins, Fred Galati (Cathy) and Rosalie Clause (Carl).

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the National World War II Museum, 945 Magazine Street, New Orleans, LA 70130 would be appreciated.
