With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maria E. Gomez (Geneva, Illinois), born in Del Rio, Texas, who passed away on December 13, 2019 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elijio Sanchez and Elena Sanchez; and her husband Conception. She is survived by: her children, Ruben Gomez of St. Charles, Dolores Anderson (Dan) of Louisiana and Angela Rothengass (Tom) of St. Charles; her grandchildren, Joshua, Tiffany Anderson, Kristen Powell (Christopher) and Rachel Rothengass; her great grandchild Griffin Scott Powell; and her siblings, Julian (Lupe), Ricardo Sanchez (Carmen) and Rosie Hipolito. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
