It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laska Meri Notz-Johnson (Geneva, Illinois), born in Sudbury, Ontario, who passed away on April 27, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lukas Farbiak and Amelia Farbiak; her former husband Edward Notz; and her brother William Farbiak (Darlene). She is survived by: her grandchild Slovakian; her husband Lauren Johnson; her brother Bernie Farbiak (Judy); her daughters, Lori Sarto (Steve), Janet Bednarek (Alan), Diana Notz and Elizabeth Dunphy (Kevin); her stepchildren, Lauren Johnson (Tracie) and Lincoln Johnson (Stephanie); her grandchildren, Stephanie Benavidez (Marcus), Edward Sarto (Denise), Ashley Sarto, Brendan, Sean Dunphy, Christopher, Daniel, Caitlyn Bednarek, Gracie, Bella, Kyra and Kaylee Johnson; and her great grandchildren, Sophia, Gianna Benavidez, Daniella, Amelia and Piper Sarto.
