It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Curtin (Geneva, Illinois), who passed away on February 27, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles J. Peterson and Hazel C. Schlorf; her brother Frederick Maggio; her significant other John Chiappetta; and her grandson Jaye Liberio.
She is survived by: her former husband Bartholomew J Curtin III; her children, Bart J Curtin IV (Sonja), Carrie L Curtin Liberio (Joseph) and Jerry Chiappetta (Jen); her grandchildren, Bartholomew J Curtin V, Brendan Curtin (Ariana Furrie), Kaitlyn Curtin (Ben Paulus), Sara Curtin (Dan Rasich), Dustin Rath, Lauren Strenkert (Collier), Nicole Liberio, Vince Chiappetta, Anthoney Chiappetta and Isabella Chiappetta; and her great grandchildren, Sky Rasich, Eevee Rasich, William Strenkert, Alyssa Dieckhoff and Dylan Dieckhoff.
