It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joanne Mickelsen of Geneva, Illinois, born in Oak Park, Illinois, who passed away on August 27, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Johnson and Lillian Johnson (Sandell); and her daughter Kymberli Lyn Mickelsen. She is survived by: her husband Rick Mickelsen; her children, Kris Mickelsen of Geneva, IL, Kraig Mickelsen (Debbie) of Geneva, IL and Kirk Mickelsen (Amanda) of Grimes, IA; her grandchildren, Kayla, Kyle, Konnor, Ryan, Kollin, Lexi, Trevor and Katelyn; and her brothers, Dr. John "Jack" Johnson Jr. (Mary) of San Diego, CA and Rev. Richard "Dick" Johnson (Annette) of Wauconda, IL. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
