With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Joan S. Lockett of Geneva, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Sweetin and Gladys Davis Sweetin; and her sisters, Doris and Judy. She is survived by: her sister Linda; her children, Charlie of Geneva, Michael (Mariana) of Geneva, Becky Pederson (John) of Geneva, Julie Chavez (James) of Arkansas, Missy Kissane (John) of Geneva and Shelley Prosser (Robert) of Geneva; her grandchildren, Joel Lockett (Tammy), Jonathan Lockett (Olivia), Michael Lockett Jr. (Ellen), Shannon Manny (Justin), Ashley Michaels (James), Nick Pedersen (Cara), James Chavez Jr. (Leila), Joseph Chavez, Lexi Kissane (Emily), Hailey Eodice (Nick), Bryce Kissane and Madelyn Prosser; her great grandchildren, Ephran, Brianna, Jeremy, Liam, Fiona, Finn, James, Lacey, Madison, Clayton, Harrison, Jace, Kinley, Avery, Grace and Rylie; and her great great grandchildren, Jacob, Jackson and Emilia.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Malone Funeral Home (324 E State St, Geneva, IL 60134). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
