With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Joseph Philpott of Geneva, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on October 30, 2021 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Kathleen Rose "Kay" Philpott; his son Patrick Philpott; his parents, John Philpott and Margaret Philpott; and his siblings, John Philpott (Rose Mary), Mary Kurfirst (Rudolph), Robert Philpott (Margaret) and Eleanor Corcoran (Robert).
He is survived by: his children, Kathleen Joschko (Phillip) of Wheaton, IL, James Philpott (Kathleen) of Wheaton and Maureen Schneidau (John) of Schaumburg, IL; his grandchildren, Jeff Joschko (Danielle), Laura Joschko, Patrick Philpott (Liz), Bridget Ingram (Joel), Daniel Philpott, Megan, Matthew and Michael Schneidau; and his great grandchild Emma Joschko.
