It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James F. Gehring of Geneva, Illinois, born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 23, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Charles and Mercedes Ana Gehring; and his sister Carol Gehring. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ellen Gehring; his children, Todd Gehring (Lisa), Robynn Gehring and Kristine Klein (Jim); his stepdaughter Kelly DeWitt; his grandchildren, Nicolette Gehring, Kendra Staton, Taylor, Madison Michurski, Hawkyns Klein, Bella and Brixton DeWitt; and his great grandchildren, Ryleigh Staton and Rainey Banks.

If friends wish to make donations in memory of Jim, checks should be made out to Knights of Columbus Council 2191.
