He was predeceased by: his son Terry Fitch; his parents, Valentine Fitch and Ella Fitch; and his sister Mary Tincknell. He is survived by: his wife Gloria Fitch; his daughters, Toni Dickinson (Greg), Tina Casey (Nelson) and Sally Stearn (David); his grandchildren, Jenni Schuhow (Ray), Sarah Sulda (Ryan), James Dickinson (Danielle), Ryan Zies (Alaina), Emily Zies, Kae Roth (Scott) and Kathee Steggs (Chris); his great grandchildren, Alex, Sam Schuhow, Jacob, Ella Sulda, Amelia Dickinson, Moriah Allen, Christian and Tyler Gunderson; and his sister Gladys. He is also survived by family and friends, made new friends.
