We are sad to announce that on May 4, 2024, at the age of 88, Dorothy M. Waldschmidt of Geneva, Illinois, born in Streator, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Dutko and Cecilia Dutko (Bain); her husband Eugene A. Waldschmidt; her son David Waldschmidt; and her siblings, Francis "Jimmy" Dutko and Cecelia Dutko.
She is survived by: her children, Aline Waldschmidt of Geneva, Kevin Waldschmidt (Ella) of Frostproof, FL, Mark Waldschmidt (Lori) of Winfield, Melanie Fuller (Bob) of Elburn, Joe Waldschmidt (Stephanie) of Batavia and Neil Waldschmidt (Melanie) of Geneva. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to ALSAC/St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105 would be appreciated.
