She was predeceased by: her parents, Frances Szafranski (Moskal) and Robert Szafranski; her husband Vincent Scalone Sr.; her brother James Szafranski; and her former husband Leendert Tankink of Great Falls, Montana..

She is survived by: her daughters, Stacey Tankink and Maggie Torres (Victor).
