Anthony Salerno Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anthony Salerno of Geneva, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on February 3, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Umberto Salerno and Margaret Salerno (Scarpelli); his daughter Virginia Salerno; his daughters-in-law, Karen Salerno and Juanita Salerno; and his brother Gino Salerno.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth; his children, Anthony Salerno Jr. of Geneva, Michael Salerno (Dawn) of Geneva, Deborah Murray (Tom) of Ohio, Mark Salerno (Cheryl) of Maple Park and Robert Salerno of Lockport; and his sister Gemma Salerno. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Malone Funeral Home (324 E State St, Geneva, IL 60134). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
