It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ronald Alhorn of Geneseo, Illinois, born in Jacksonville, Illinois, who passed away on March 27, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Alhorn and W. June Alhorn (Goodrich) of Meredosia, IL.. He is survived by: his wife Leanne M. Ellinor; his son Brian Alhorn (Erica) of Wheaton, IL; and his grandchildren, Mackenzie Alhorn, Riley and Reid Alhorn.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to First Lutheran Church, 114 E. Main Street, Geneseo, IL, 61254 or the Ron Alhorn Memorial Fund.

“My brother just sent me a text, notifying me of Ron's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you. He certainly will be missed ... by not only you, his family, but certainly & also by those that had the fortune of making his acquaintence. I primarily knew Ron as my high school Ag teacher and FFA Advisor, though I would occassionally bump into him at a Cambridge football game. I always have a grin on my face when I remember Ron ... he made me laugh & was truly a blast. Gary Sloan CHS '79”
