He was predeceased by: his father David L. Hess; his grandparents, Clarence, Lois Hess, Raymond and Katherine Channell; his uncle Bill Channell; and his close friend Dean F. Munton.
He is survived by: his mother Nancy Channell Hess of Geneseo; his friends, Dustin, Kelly Vincent and Nathan Steele; his brother Matthew David Hess (Jessica Reece); and his niece Mikala Hess (Seth Struck).
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Vandemore Funeral Home - Geneseo (580 E Ogden Ave, Geneseo, IL 61254).
