He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Deener and Bettye Deener (Juhan). He is survived by: his wife Debra of Geneseo; his daughters, Brittney Keesey (Brent) of Madison, WI and Erin Loniello (Fred) of Villa Park, IL; his grandsons, Callahan, Sam Loniello, Owen and Andrew Keesey; his sister Norma Hershey (Tom) of Ellicott City, MD; his sister-in-law Diana Quandt (Ron) of South Bend, IN; his niece Sara Walters; his nephew Chad Quandt; and his pet Maddie.
Due to the pandemic and Illinois COVID 19 policies, only 10 people are allowed in the funeral home at a time; therefore, a private memorial service will be held at 10:00 a. m. on Thursday, December 3, 2020, at Vandemore Funeral Homes & Crematory - Geneseo Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Henry County Humane Society, Geneseo.
