She was predeceased by: her parents, John VanDeSompele and Lucienne VanDeSompele (DuLon); her husband Donald R. Taets; her sons, Camiel "Mell" Taets and Donald Taets Jr.; her siblings, John VanDeSompele, Daniel VanDeSompele and Jackie Neff; and her son-in-law Duane Miller.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Taets (Cherie) of Coal Valley, Barbara Miller of Osco and Elizabeth Wagner (Jeff) of German Valley, IL; and her sister Yvonne Werthmann of Davenport. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
