It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peter S. Chodera of Geneseo, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on April 13, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Chodera and Helen Chodera (Baginsky); his wife Rose Jowers; and his sisters, Elizabeth Ross and LaVerne Neuman.

He is survived by: his daughters, Linda Liebhart (John) of Ottawa, IL and Cynthia Rugland of Geneseo, IL. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.

Memorials can be made in his name to the American Heart or Lung Association, 230 16th Street, Rock Island, IL, 61201.
