With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael Rowlands of Geneseo, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on September 25, 2020 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dr. Owen B. and Lillian Rowlands (Drost); his former wife Victoria Cassel; his wife Vicki; his children, Joshua Rowlands of Effingham, Emily Rowlands of Denver and Christian Rowlands (Erika) of Huntersville; his stepsons, Robert Larson (Ellie) of Coal Valley, Eric Larson of Silvis and Andrew Larson of Moline; and his siblings, Roberta Rowlands (Allan Haley) of Nevada City, Craig Rowlands (Janice) of Geneseo, Owen Dana Rowlands (Wendy) of Pueblo West and Scott Rowlands (Margie) of Silvis. He was also cherished by six grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
Guests will be limited to 50 at one time at the funeral home and 200 at one time at the church, and masks and social distancing are required at all events.
Memorials may be made to the Paraclete Fund at St. Malachy School or Geneseo Animal Shelter.
