It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Eugene Johnson of Geneseo, Illinois, who passed away on March 8, 2022, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Johnson and Virginia Johnson (Smith). He is survived by: his daughter Jasmine Smith (Timothy) of East Moline, IL; his siblings, David Johnson (Dianne) of Leesburg, FL, Nancy DeFauw of Cambridge, IL, Linda Langsten (Jerry) of Paris, TX and Deedra Johnson of Geneseo, IL; his cousins, Diane DePauw of Geneseo, IL and Marty DePauw of Geneseo, IL; and his friend Delbert VanPelt of Cambridge, IL.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
