It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maurice L. VerBrugge of Geneseo, Illinois, who passed away on December 16, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Leon VerBrugge and Dorothy VerBrugge (Schwark); his wife Barbara Jean Livesay; his children, Pam Keopple (Rick Shiman) of Geneseo, Alan VerBrugge of Colona and Michael VerBrugge (Lydia) of Columbia, MO; his sister Doris Paul (Don) of Rock Island; his grandchildren, Ted Keopple (Danielle) of Charlotte, NC and Lauren VerBrugge of Columbia, MO; his great grandchild Laina Keopple of Charlotte, NC.; and his son-in-law Ted Keopple, Sr..
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Mose VerBrugge Memorial Fund, to be distributed amongst local charities in his honor.
