Matilda Garza Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Matilda Garza of Geneseo, Illinois, who passed away on December 20, 2020 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Anton Zupan and Violet "Ruby" Zupan (Prsa); her husband Roy Garza; and her brother Anton Zupan. She is survived by: her children, Roy and Irene; her children-in-law, Missy Garza and John Kemmis; her grandchildren, Andrea Newcomb (Tim), Carly Kemmis Knepper (Doug), Rachel Lemmons (Shannon) and Rafe Kemmis; her great grandchildren, Dillon Garza, Santana Chavez, Cereno Chavez, Scarlet Garza, Haley Newcomb and Cale Lemmons; her great great grandchild Cassian Chavez; her brother William Zupan; her friend Maureen Johnston; and her sisters, Ann Dominikovich, Mary Bashaw, Violet Glowczynski and Rosemary Cadle. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID restrictions, all services will be private and for family only.
