It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marlene Jackson-DeGrande of Geneseo, Illinois, born in Lowry City, Missouri, who passed away on July 1, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Crawford and Frances Crawford (Shephard); her former husband Andrew Perry Jackson; her grandson Luke Jackson; her stepson John DeGrande; and her sister Marilyn O'dell.
She is survived by: her husband Gerald DeGrande; her children, Michael A. Jackson, Sr. (Sally), Desiree Aidala (Jimmy) and Mark D. Jackson (Jenny); her stepdaughter Lisa Ammel (Bruce); her grandchildren, Michael A. Jackson, Jr. (Jennifer), Scott Jackson (Julie), Alison Kendall (Robert), Kimberlee Gravert (Jason), Leah Jackson, Shane Aidala (Chelsea), Cody Aidala (Tori), Joseph Ammel (Gabriella), Matthew Ammel and Marie Ammel; and her brother James Crawford of Florida. She is also survived by 15 great grandchildren.
