He was predeceased by: his parents, Clement Meade and Hattie Meade (Ockenfels); his daughter Bernadette; and his brother Tom. He is survived by: his wife Rosemary McGuire; his children, Mary DeBord (Jim), John (Sheila), Maureen Johnson (Doug), Jim (Tammie), Kathy Daly (Mike), Kerry Leon (Trino) and Dennis (Heather); his grandchildren, Jack, Brennan, Nathan, Ashley, Jennifer, Maria, Kelly, Chris, Kim, Cameron, Caeden, Jess, Ryan, Matt, Aidan, Megan, Branden, Shannon, Kyle and Erin; and his great grandchildren, Nolan, Ethan, Colin, Hattie and Hailey.
A rosary was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 at 4:30 PM at the Vandemore Funeral Home - Geneseo (580 E Ogden Ave, Geneseo, IL 61254). Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Malachy Catholic Church (595 E Ogden Ave, Geneseo, IL 61254).
