He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Loftus and Viola Loftus (Larvenz); his son Edward; and his siblings, Nancy Loftus, Marlene Dickinson, Helena Welge and Bill Loftus.
He is survived by: his mother-in-law Sandra E. Greve; his wife Sandra; his children, Janelle Pettit (Jay), Rhonda Shah (Neal), James Loftus (Kelly), Bill Loftus (Liz), Joseph Loftus and Steven Loftus; his grandchildren, Julia Loftus, Calvin, Ella, Viola Pettit, Andrew and Alex Shah; and his siblings, Patty Leone (Mario) of Davenport, IA and J. C. Louck (Sue).
