It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawrence Carton of Geneseo, Illinois, born in Atkinson, Illinois, who passed away on June 7, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Carton and Elizabeth Carton (VanDeVoorde); his wife Lois Anderson; his daughter Lisa Carton Zang; and his siblings, Shirley VanVooren, Katherine Carton, Mel Carton, Dean Carton, Lewis Carton and Warren Carton.

He is survived by: his children, Dale Carton (Jennifer) of Davenport, IA and Lori Handke (Craig) of Anthon, IA; his grandchildren, Ashley Carton, Collin Zang of Cy Handke, D. J and Ryan Carton; his great grandchild Mark Hall; and his sisters, Rita Olson (Wayne) and Roberta Zorza.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family in memory of Lawrence.
