He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harlan Stringer and Fleta Stringer (Beeman); his wife Patricia L. Colling; his children, Robin (Dave), Gary Stringer of Rock Falls, IL, Chad Stringer and Clay Stringer (Monica McCowan); his stepsons, Kevin Hook (Heidi Krafoc), Craig Hook, Sr. (Stefanie) and Cory Hook; and his siblings, Joe (Shirley), Barbara Solomon of Moline, IL and Donna Jarzinka (Tom).
